Group 1 Automotive Inc. an international Fortune 250 automotive retailer and a leading operator in the automotive retailing industry is seeking an IT Application Manager to our team to lead endtoend management of enterprise applications. This role will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. The manager will ensure that application development aligns with organizational goals and industry best practices.

Responsibilities
- Manage the full application lifecycle from planning deployment and maintenance
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Establish and enforce development standards around technology stacks coding practices and testing
- Oversee development configuration integration and support of web and cloudbased applications.
- Evaluate and implement tools and frameworks that support modern development practices and DevOps integration.
- Monitor performance reliability security and coordinate efforts to address issues and improvements.
- Mentor and guide development teams to ensure alignment with architectural principles and business priorities.
- Create and maintain documentation.
- Partner with IT infrastructure and security teams to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of experience in application management software development or solution architecture.
- Strong proficiency in SQL .NET (C#) and Azure cloud services.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders and align IT solutions with business strategy.
- Strong problemsolving analytical and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within IT.
- Knowledge of enterprise integrations / API management
