Responsibilities
Revolution is now hiring for a Warehouse Shipping Manager in Oakdale MN. The ideal candidate has excellent communication problemsolving and timemanagement skills. The successful candidate will be a motivated individual who has strong attention to detail with high accuracy efficiency and accountability.
- Determine work procedures prepare work schedules and expedite workflow.
- Enter Purchase Order requisitions.
- Assign duties and examine work for exactness neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Study and standardize procedures to improve the efficiency of workers.
- Interview hire and manage a team of 5 warehouse employees.
- Confer with other managers outside of the distribution center to ensure coordination of additional functions such as production inventory management and quality assurance.
- Ensure correct shipment of domestic and international orders.
- Identify employees skills and develop them by coaching and counseling employees regularly.
- Stay within established budgeted freight dollars and cents per pound.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) workflows and processes and identify opportunities for improvement and accurate inventory management.
- Help with all other adhoc supply chain projects as needed.
- Monitor the performance of each freight provider.
- Help manage any paperwork requirements from freight providers (COI Cert. of Operating Authority Contracts).
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferred with a minimum of three years of Shipping and Receiving Warehouse management experience.
- At least two years of forklift experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other relevant software systems (I.e. SAP JDE AS400 Syteline or other common ERP or WMS systems).
- Ability to perform in extreme temperatures.
- Must possess excellent listening written and oral communication skills.
- Selfstarter with the ability to lead and manage multiple largescale projects in high demand fastpaced environment.
- Experience implementing procurement policies processes tools and initiatives.
- Experience handling diverse and complex sourcing transactions.
- Must have a strong customer service focus.
- Be able to perform in highstress environments with the ability to multitask.
The salary for this position ranges from $65000 to $75000 per year. In addition the company offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance a retirement savings plan and paid time off.
