Job Description

Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Content Editor Fixed Term Contract until 31st December 2025

Salary: National circa 35000 / London circa 45000

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an expert Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Content Editor to join our team based in Eastleigh York and London.

This is an excellent role for someone who has a passion for crafting engaging and customer driven web experiences!

Aviva operates a smartworking policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office and this role is based in Eastleigh York or London.

A bit about the job:

The successful individual will be responsible for the management build and publishing of pages in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) playing a pivotal role in delivering the best possible web experiences for public websites; primarily on the customer website and supporting with project initiatives.

The position holder will require an understanding of digital best practices user experience & design principles and accessibility standards to enable them to make suggestions on content and product and provide guidance to business collaborators.

You will have strong teamworking attributes working in a small multilocation team; be selfsufficient inputting valuable opinion to team discussions as well as providing quality assurance delivering to timelines and collaborating with various creative disciplines and various collaborators across the market. This position will also provide training and support to other AEM authors/publishers with the ability to respond to risk and emergency events with the potential for occasional out of hours support.

Additional prior knowledge of Adobe Campaign Adobe Photoshop Adobe Analytics and Jira is desirable.

Skills and experience were looking for:

  • Relevant experience in web production using advanced CMS systems; specifically Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Recent and demonstrable experience of actively using AEM to edit and publish content is essential.
  • Experience in website information architecture with an appreciation of website structure management and search engine optimisation (SEO) preferable but not essential.
  • A strong collaborator working with business units technical developers content SEO user experience and visual design creatives to ensure you can comprehensively answer and fully deliver requirements ideally within the Financial Services sector.
  • Stakeholder management skills to balance multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations; always upholding bestpractice; ensuring the customer is put at the heart of every decision thats made.
  • Resourceful selforganised and motivated individual with excellent attention to detail who can work independently and as part of a multisite team.
