Introduction
SAP BUSINESS ANALYST: FINANCE DATA OFFICE
Engagement Type:ISP Resource Engagement (Contract)
Location:Specify location if needed
Duration:6 12 month contract
Project Title:Group Centre Finance Data Office: Report Ready Data Master Data
Contract & Fees
- Engagement Start Date: Immediate
- End Date: 31 December 2025
- Renewal: 1year renewal with 1month termination notice
- Pricing: Based on milestonelinked outputs/deliverables (as defined in scope)
Overview of Services:
We are seeking adynamic and detailoriented Business Analystwith a strong background infinanceandSAP systems. You will work on a strategic project focused on improvingfinancial master data simplifying theChart of Accountsandhierarchies and enabling accurate reportready data.
Duties & Responsibilities
Project Objectives & Deliverables:
I. Chart of Accounts Simplification
- Conduct AsIs analysis to identify drivers of current structure poor data quality and best practices
- Identify root causes of data quality issues (manual vs. automated data input)
- Define remediation principles and solutions
- Benchmark current structure against best practices
- Present solutions for approval via governance processes
- Produce position papers and presentations for decisionmaking
Success Metrics:
- Evidence of Chart of Accounts and hierarchy cleanup by 20 October 2025
- Demonstrate 20% remediation in data quality by 20 October 2025
II. Hierarchy Simplification
- Review current drivers of complexity
- Propose simplified hierarchy aligned with reporting objectives
III. Master Data Discovery & Conceptual Solution Design
- Review and enhance business requirements
- Contribute to conceptual design of MDG/SAP master data technology solutions
IV. Functional System Specification Alignment
- Review and align MDG/SAP system specs across:
- Legal Entity
- Cost Centre / Profit Centre
- General Ledger
