Job Description
Job Title: LabVantage / LIMS Business Analyst
Location: Remote (USAEST Time zone)
Job Type: Long Term Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detailoriented and experienced LabVantage Business Analyst to support the implementation optimization and ongoing support of LabVantage LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System). The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders scientists QA teams and IT to gather requirements analyze workflows and ensure that LabVantage solutions align with organizational needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Life Sciences Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- 810 years of experience as a Business Analyst with at least 24 years working specifically with LabVantage LIMS.
- Strong understanding of laboratory processes in pharmaceutical biotech or research environments.
- Familiarity with GxP 21 CFR Part 11 and validation practices.
- Proficient in creating user stories business process flows and functional specifications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with SDLC methodologies especially Agile.
- Understanding of system integrations (e.g. instruments ERP ELN MES).
- Experience with SQL or scripting languages for data analysis or reporting.
- LabVantage certification or handson experience with LabVantage 8.x version. Added/Preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the liaison between scientific/business teams and technical teams for LabVantage LIMS projects.
- Gather document and analyze user requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Assist in the configuration and customization of LabVantage to support laboratory workflows.
- Develop and execute test plans and support validation efforts including IQ/OQ/PQ.
- Support data migration integration with instruments and other enterprise systems.
- Facilitate user training and create enduser documentation.
- Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with the technical team for resolution.
- Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
