Job Title: HVAC and Plumbing Technician
Job Type: FullTime
Location: Windsor
Salary: $28 31 p/hr
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC and Plumbing Technician to join our team. This dualrole position requires expertise in both heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and plumbing work. The ideal candidate will install maintain troubleshoot and repair HVAC and plumbing systems in residential commercial and industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities:

Install repair and maintain HVAC systems including furnaces air conditioners heat pumps ductwork and ventilation systems.

Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues such as refrigerant leaks electrical failures and mechanical breakdowns.

Perform routine maintenance on HVAC units including filter changes coil cleaning and system inspections.

Install and repair plumbing systems including pipes fixtures water heaters and drainage systems.

Detect and repair leaks in water gas and sewer lines.

Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical drawings.

Ensure compliance with local state and national codes and safety regulations.

Work with customers to assess needs explain repair or installation processes and provide cost estimates.

Maintain detailed records of repairs installations and maintenance work.
Requirements:

High school diploma or GED; technical certification in HVAC and some experience in plumbing is preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in both HVAC

Valid HVAC license / certification

Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical and plumbing systems.

Ability to use diagnostic tools hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.

Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Valid driver s license with a clean driving record.

Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
