Our client is on the lookout for an Engineering Manager to spearhead our engineering initiatives at its York PA plant. This role is pivotal in driving innovation ensuring operational efficiency and leading a team of dedicated engineers to support the mission of delivering toptier refractory products.
If youve led engineering teams managed complex projects or driven operational improvements during your military service youll find this role both familiar and rewarding. Your experience in highstakes environments coupled with your leadership abilities makes you the ideal candidate to oversee and enhance the engineering operations.
Heres what youll do:
Lead and Mentor: Guide a team of engineers fostering a culture of continuous improvement collaboration and technical excellence.
Project Management: Oversee engineering projects from conception to completion ensuring they align with company objectives are delivered on time and within budget.
Innovate and Optimize: Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency product quality and technological advancements.
Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with production maintenance and other departments to ensure engineering solutions meet the plants needs and drive overall success.
Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to safety standards regulatory requirements and company policies in all engineering activities.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the engineering departments budget ensuring resources are allocated effectively and financial targets are met.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for engineering matters communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Must have served in U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard. NCO/Supervisor who is a well-rounded technician. Will supervise one person and be hands on for now. Strong communications and ability to think outside the box.
