Job Description:
Seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Customer Service Representative I to join the Division of Policy and Intergovernmental Affairs. This role will provide frontline support to individuals requesting birth and death certificates at our Vital Records lobby in Phoenix.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate and professional customer service to walkin clients
- Process requests for birth and death certificates efficiently and securely
- Handle sensitive customer information certified documents and cash receipts with care
- Organize and secure outgoing mail daily
- Maintain confidentiality in compliance with departmental and state guidelines
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in a clientfacing/customer service role
- Associate s Degree or higher
- Must be local to Phoenix AZ and available for inperson interviews
- Must be able to start within 2 weeks of offer
- Must apply for a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (required for onboarding)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Front desk or receptionist experience
- Comfortable interacting in a publicfacing environment
- Proficient in data entry and document processing
Additional Information:
- No remote work this is an onsite position
- No background check required but Fingerprint Clearance Card is mandatory
- Candidates must be available for an inperson interview within 1 week of the posting close date
