Job Description

Job Title: Automotive Technician
Location: Berman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Oak Lawn IL
Starting Pay: $17.00/hour
- 6Month Increase: $17.50/hour
- 12Month Increase: $18.00/hour
Wage increases are based on tenure and performance milestones. Additional training and certification can lead to further advancement.

- Ability to work on your own or your familys vehicle after hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine services beyond oil changes (brake pad replacement belt/hose replacement tire services fluid flushes)
- Conduct vehicle inspections and safety checks
- Replace components such as batteries alternators starters filters and bulbs
- Document services performed using dealership software
- Maintain a clean organized and safe workspace
- Participate in Stellantis/Mopar training programs to continue advancing your skills
Qualifications :
- Valid drivers license with a clean record (minimum 3 years)
- At least 2 years of experience in an automotive repair or maintenance setting
- Working knowledge of automotive systems: brakes suspension engine electrical
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and scan equipment
- Strong work ethic and desire to grow technically
- ASE certification or enrollment in Stellantis/Mopar CAP training is a plus
