Job Description
JOB DETAILS
The Quality Control Lead at Cornerstone Building Brands is responsible for ensuring all products meet quality standards leading a team in implementing and monitoring quality control processes and collaborating with other departments to address issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Supervision and Training: Lead and train quality control inspectors and technicians ensuring they follow established procedures
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions
- Inspection and Testing: Oversee the inspection and testing of materials parts and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inspections tests and corrective actions and prepare reports on quality control metrics
- Problem Solving: Investigate product quality concerns and implement solutions to prevent future issues
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and analyze problems to identify evaluate propose and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Document Review: Review assigned controlled documents (e.g. work instructions quality specifications engineering specifications procedures and validation protocols)
Qualifications :
- Prior experience in quality control preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong leadership skills (Soft and Hard Skills)
- Excellent problemsolving skills using statistical tools and DMAIC process disciplines
- Ability to communicate between multiple parties and execute production requests while providing feedback to Managers/Line Leads
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
