Job Description
Position Summary:
Job Scope:
Calibration of Plant Laboratory and Warehouse Equipment and Measuring Instruments.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of Calibration Plan.
2. Preparation of Purchase Request for Calibration of equipment and instrument by 3rd party service provider. Monitoring of the purchase order status.
3. Calibration and Testing: Perform routine calibration and testing of instruments to ensure precision and compliance with standards.
4. Documentation : Maintain detailed records of calibration activities including certifications and reports.
5. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with equipment performance.
6. Compliance: Ensure all calibration activities adhere to industry regulations and standards (e.g. ISO 17025 cGMP).
7. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of calibration schedules and address technical concerns.
8. Collaboration: Work with other departments to coordinate calibration schedules and address technical concerns.
9. Training: Provide guidance and training to staff on calibration techniques and equipment usage.
10. Quality Assurance: Verify equipment performance and ensure it meets operational requirements.
11. Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in calibration procedures and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications :
Education: A degree or certification in engineering electrical/electronics instrumentation and controls engineering or related field.
Years of Related Work Experience: Prior experience in calibration or quality assurance roles is often required.
Job Skills/Competencies Required:
1. Technical Skills: Proficiency in calibration software.
2. ProblemSolving: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
3. Communication: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
4. Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. With National Certification II is a plus.
