Job Description
AECOM is seeking a talented Engineering Intern to join our team in the Calgary AB office!
This is a 4month term that will begin in June 2025.
Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Support project managers in delivery of design and construction of infrastructure projects.
- Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established and welldefined procedures.
- Assist in the design / drawing production of transportation roadway and infrastructure projects.
- Assist with the preparation of technical specifications and bid documents
- Provide basic support in the areas of inspection and surveying activities for road and infrastructure construction.
- Attend meetings and prepare minutes of meetings.
- Review and compile submittals
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- The candidate must currently be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
- Must have completed two years of study in the applicable program.
Preferred Requirements:
- Availability to travel and work in the field 95% of the time.
- Access to a vehicle and a Class 5 Drivers license
- Willingness and ability to learn industrystandard software pertinent to the position.
- Basic knowledge of industrystandard software for the position (examples include software such as; MS Excel MS Word Civil 3D/AutoCAD).
