Job Description
- Pay: $18.61/hr
- Location: Pen Argyl PA
- Schedule: MF 8am4pm
At TechoBloc our general laborers are a crucial piece of the production puzzle. This entry level role is a perfect fit for those newer to the industry or anyone looking for a career steppingstone in manufacturing.
- Embrace and follow safe work practices at all times
- Work effectively outside in various weather conditions
- Comfortable with physically demanding work
- Evaluate and sort pallets
- Safely use pneumatic nail guns
- Ensure proper inventory procedures and reporting are followed
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- May work to support production or yard operations on a short term or fill in basis.
- May have to operate forklift
- Behaves in accordance with TechoBloc Vision Mission and Values.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- 1 year of sitdown forklift experience
- Ability to follow documented procedures and standards.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment to assure quality is maintained
- Ability to keep accurate records.
- Familiarity working with power tools is a plus
- Excellent timemanagement skills with the ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Comfortable working with target rates of production
- Ability to work outside in the all weather

The employee must frequently transport and move items up to 75 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds. Must be able to closely inspect materials and products. Employee must be able to identify color blends variances nonconforming color blends with up to three different colors on each product. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to remain stationary or move throughout the workstations; also includes the ability to ascend and descend steps and ladders; and position self in tight spaces. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms talk or hear.
