Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Project Manager District Energy System to lead multidisciplinary energy projects for multiple clients across the United States. The Senior Project Manager will oversee the delivery (detailed design and construction) of energy center and associated distribution infrastructure.
This position is a hybrid role and can be located in multiple cities in the United States.
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong working knowledge of District Energy System: 4th and 5th generation systems
- Strong interpersonal organizational creating problemsolving collaboration and leadership skills
- Experience leading a multidisciplinary and diverse team of professionals
- Experience managing large complex projects in multiple locations
- Ability to apply acquired expertise and knowledge to solve business challenges
- Experience successfully coaching peers and team members
- A track record of leveraging relationships to expand work with existing clients identify new clients and recruit and retain inhouse staff
Duties of the position include:
- Plans directs and supervises all operations included in moderately sized projects with moderate risk complexity and financial impact.
- Manages and leads all technical financial and client satisfaction areas using consistent processes and tools.
- May include management of small teams across business lines in remote locations and/or management of subcontractors.
- Manages projects on a local to regional basis achieving quality outcomes financial performance and client satisfaction.
- Successfully develops strategy prepares proposals negotiates contracts and executes project.
- Acts as primary point of contact with client.

Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- BS in Mechanical Energy Electrical or Civil Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Experience including management of infrastructure projects including and/or distributed energy resources
- Experience delivering complex projects and/or programs with high quality on schedule and within scope and budget
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10 Years of Relevant Experience
- Project and client management experience including management of multiple projects of significant scope and complexity
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (optional).
- Experience in alternative delivery projects.
