The Sturm College of Law is strongly committed to preparing its graduates to excel on the bar examination. To this end the law school currently supports a variety of initiatives designed to support bar success among them a facultydirected Bar Success Program; a set of curricular and cocurricular offerings focused on bar success and academic achievement; and a complimentary bar review course for all current JD students.
Position Summary
The Director of the Bar Success Program will lead a comprehensive set of initiatives designed to prepare graduates of the Sturm College of Law to excel on the bar examination. The Director will (1) lead the Bar Success Program including the development management and staffing of all curricular and/or cocurricular offerings designed to enhance students knowledge and skills relevant to the bar examination; (2) teach the postgraduate Bar Success Program in collaboration with other instructors coaches and advisors; (3) work with the Director of the Academic Achievement Program on initiatives designed to foster strong performance on the bar exam and with other faculty members regarding the effective teaching of skills and subjects tested on the bar including the NextGen Bar Exam; (4) manage relationships with vendors relevant to the Bar Success Program; (5) harmonize the law schools inhouse curricular and cocurricular programs with the offerings of thirdparty vendors and foster effective engagement by students and graduates with such programs and offerings; (6) compile and analyze data related to bar passage including for purposes of programmatic enhancement donor stewardship and accreditationrelated reporting; (7) furnish bartakers with individualized and effective advice about their professional licensure options; and (8) manage the budget of the Bar Success Program.
The successful candidate will be a current member of the fulltime or visiting faculty of the Sturm College of Law and will be expected to begin in the role in May 2025.

Work Schedule
Monday Friday 8:00 a.m. 4:30 flexibility to occasionally work evenings or work policy is 2days remote and 3days in the office. The hiring manager will share more about DU hybrid work policy and discuss work schedule flexibility.

Salary Grade Number:
The salary grade for the position is UC.
Salary Range:
This position pays a benefited administrative stipend of $15000.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate departmental budget availability internal salary equity considerations and available market information but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
