ABOUT US
Were looking to expand our Betting Entertainment Tools team in Ljubljana. Youll be joining a dedicated and closely connected team that specializes in market leading betting solutions integrated by more than 400 clients and reaching hundreds of millions of sport fans and punters globally.
As a Java Backend Developer youll work closely with product owners QA engineers and development teams to design implement and optimize backend services. Your primary focus will be ensuring highquality scalable and robust solutions with a strong emphasis on QA automation and testdriven development.
We believe in building reliable and welltested systems. Youll play a key role in integrating automated testing into our backend services improving test coverage and ensuring smooth deployments. If you have a passion for clean code performance optimization and automation this role is for you.
THE CHALLENGE
- Develop and maintain backend services in Java ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Design and implement automated testing strategies covering unit integration and endtoend testing.
- Work closely with QA engineers to enhance test automation frameworks and ensure continuous validation of services.
- Improve system reliability monitoring and fault tolerance by implementing best practices.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize backend services for efficiency.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews and static analysis tools.
- Stay updated with the latest Java backend technologies and testing methodologies.
YOUR PROFILE
- At least 2 years experience with Java development.
- Experience with Spring Boot Hibernate and other modern Java frameworks.
- Solid understanding of automated testing practices including unit integration and API testing.
- Handson experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit TestNG Mockito or similar.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter Gatling) is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment workflows.
- Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker Kubernetes) and cloud services.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to troubleshoot complex backend issues.
- Passion for QA automation and ensuring high system reliability.
