The role
Responsible for defining designing and delivering the Firms changing business need(s) in any given project or programme which will incorporate changes to policy process practice and/or underpinning IT systems.
Who you will work with
Reporting into the head of Business Analysis or Senior Business Analysis Manager this role resides within the Business Analysis function which sits within the Global Programme Group (GPG).
The GPG are responsible for advancing and delivering many of the firms strategic programmes and related key components. As a member of this team you will have the opportunity to work on varied and substantial projects and programmes that are integral to the delivery of the firms strategy. The Global Programme Group is located in India and the UK and serves the firms projects globally.
You could be working very closely with regional and global c suite stakeholders legal experts practice area managers Finance HR Business Development Legal Knowledge and Technology leads and experts. You will be working very closely with Change Portfolio Programme and Project Management along with PMO and Business Analysis colleagues across the GPG.
What you will be responsible for
As a Business Analysis Manager you will be responsible for:
- Working across multiple programmes and projects which may require people process technology and data transformation.
- Consistently engaging and collaborating with stakeholders of all levels of experience surfacing the context affected by or influencing change (in terms of the people demographics policies processes technologies and data)
- Eliminating ambiguity and accurately defining problems opportunities and business needs in alignment with the firms strategic priorities.
- Establishing and being the custodian of business needs scope requirements and benefits realisation.
- Informing and assuring solution proposition thinking business cases change and delivery management governance and decision making.
- Constantly assuring the realisation of anticipated value across programme and project proposition and delivery.
What you will do
As a Business Analysis Manager you will:
- Nurture and maintain solid stakeholder relationships across the firm planning informing and assuring value driven engagement.
- Plan and agree your Business Analysis engagement and approach with stakeholders informing and assuring governance and planning.
- Establish ASIS and TOBE context highlighting the people demographics policies processes technologies and data affected by or affecting change and defining problems and opportunities accurately.
- Assure and formalise business needs with desirable and measurable outcomes and benefits establishing benefits profiles ownership and plans for realisation during and after deployment.
- Elicit validate and define all stakeholder solution and transitional requirements at both a summary and detail level using appropriate artefacts assuring quality traceability and value realisation.
- Inform (and potentially direct) solution proposition thinking (RFI/RFP) using insights and assess feasibility against needs costs benefits risks and complexity enabling decision makers to make informed decisions.
- Define and assure the solution approach and scope acting as the custodian of all business needs scope and requirements proactively managing changes and constantly assuring value realisation.
- Inform and assure change management strategy RAID impact assessments and planning.
- Formalise and assure business designs and approach.
- Inform and validate all designs (business operational technical service) and assure value realisation.
- Inform and assure test strategies plans and scripting potentially producing them for UAT.
- Inform and assure QA training adoption and operational readiness.
- Monitor and assure the realisation of benefits during and after deployment.
- Consistently inform and assure the business case.
- Contribute towards the development of Business Analysis consistently qualifying and demonstrating best practice across engagements.

Your experience
Required:
- Experience informing and influencing stakeholders and decision makers across largescale and complex business transformation programmes globally.
- Strong understanding of industry standard business analysis change and project management principles methodologies tools and approaches.
Desirable:
- Relevant Business Analysis accreditation and/or membership.
- Experience within a Global Professional Services environment.
- Experience in the Legal industry with an appreciation of the client and matter lifecycle.
- Experience in client relationship management.
- Experience with Finance transformation and exposure to Finance functions such as revenue management procure to pay service to cash and finance management.
- Experience with ERP transformations and SAP.
- Experience with HR Transformations and Workday.
- Experience enabling organisations to become more data driven with analytics and insights.
- Experience with AI.
