As a Medical Scientific Manager you will lead Sobis medical strategy and engagement in Egypt and North Africa. Youll build strong relationships with medical experts deliver scientific communications support patient access and ensure the ethical and effective use of our therapies. This role combines strategic leadership with handson execution in a highly specialized field.
This position is based in Egypt reporting directly to the Medical Director Middle East
Key Responsibilities
Shape and execute local medical strategies aligned with Sobis Global Medical Plan.
Build and nurture relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) scientific societies and regulatory authorities.
Lead the design and execution of stakeholder engagement plans to ensure appropriate access and adoption of Sobis innovative therapies.
Deliver compelling scientific and medical communications externally and internally.
Drive scientific advisory boards educational initiatives and strategic congress participation.
Support local market access efforts and crossfunctional collaboration with commercial and patient access teams.
Lead pharmacovigilance responsibilities and safety reporting across the assigned geography.
Represent Sobi in Business Development Due Diligence and contribute to regional launch readiness.
Qualifications :
About you
Youre an experienced medical leader with deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and a strong network in the region. With a background in medicine or pharmacy and a passion for improving patient outcomes you bring scientific expertise strategic thinking and a collaborative mindset to everything you do.
Your Background
Education: Bachelors degree in Medicine or Pharmacy (Postgraduate medical education is a plus).
Experience: 10 years in pharmaceutical sales with 3 years in a leadership role. Experience in Egypt/North Africa is essential; hematology and rare diseases experience is a strong advantage.
Languages: Fluency in English and French is required.

Proven track record in achieving medical KPIs and managing complex portfolios.
Deep understanding of medical scientific engagement and regulatory environment.
Strategic thinking financial acumen and strong leadership skills.
Strong command of Microsoft Office tools and operational excellence.
