Define execute and manage product portfolio in line with business goals. Develops products by identifying potential products; conducting market research; generating product requirements; determining specifications pricepositioning and timeintegrated plans for product introduction and developing marketing strategies.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Determines customers needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
Assesses market competition by comparing the companys products to competitors products.
Provides source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
Obtains product market share by working with sales managers to develop product sales strategies.
Assesses product market data by calling on customers with field salespeople and evaluating sales call results.
Provides information for management by preparing shortterm and longterm product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests.
Facilitates inventory turnover and product availability by reviewing and adjusting inventory levels and production/ importing schedules. Manages/determines service policies for products.
Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; and preparing analyses.
Introduces and markets new products by developing timeintegrated plans with sales channel management MARCOM and production.
Determines product pricing and value propositions by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Qualifications :
Marketing or Engineering university degree required. MBA will be an advantage
5 years experience with product development launch & commercialization in a B to B and/ or B to C business environment. Experience in Automotive Aftermarket will be a plus.
Excellent written verbal communication and presentation skills in English
Strong teamwork and relationship building skills. Experience in working with cross functional teams.
Excellent Excel and Powerpoint presentation skills
Strong ability to multitask & effective negotiation skills.
Excellent project management skills with an ability to communicate with team members in a timely concise manner
Strong customer focus and orientation
Willing to travel on requirement
