Job Description
- To develop new solvent base adhesive and UV curable adhesives for various Applications on Films/labels/Tapes.
- To manage adhesive development project plans and lead projects from prototypes to scaleup and commercialization.
- To Conduct handon formulation and polymerization of solvent / UV curable adhesives based on CTQs
- To establish new adhesive platform research for label/tapes products and applications in high value categories.
- To Build and expand adhesive technology through the literature and intelligence research new scientific discovery external
- development and development of intellectual property.
- To Collaborate with crossfunctional team to drive innovation and product promotion
- To lead the quality design of new adhesive responsible for adhesive scale up
- To support adhesive coatings and applications
- To responsible for crossregion collaborations on advance adhesive developments.
- To coach and mentor technicians and junior chemist.
- To Develop and maintain a safe and efficient laboratory environment
Qualifications :
- Master with 8 years R&D in pressure sensitive adhesive or structural adhesive or PhD. with 3 years of relevant experience in the field of Chemistry Polymer Science Material science Chemical engineering.
- Detailed knowledge of adhesive development polymerization formulation fundamentals and polymer processing;
- Detailed knowledge of material characterization and analytical/applications testing
- Ability to develop highperformance pressuresensitive adhesives and structural adhesives;
- Proficient in adhesive research and development in the industry of new energy batteries automotive and electronics.
- Familiar with legislation regulations and standards in adhesive development
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills;
- Excellent communication and project leadership /management skills can work with the global functional team to move projects forward;
- Proficient in English with outstanding technical writing ability;
- Ability to work independently and Teamwork spirit
- Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures
