Job Description
They explore and utilise macro (international societal organisational) and micro (individual) level research around key contemporary workforce issues such as emotion; employee voice; collectivism; health and safety; wellbeing; equity diversity and gender; and the management of human capital at work.
Work with the Director of WOW Professor Paula Brough who is leading a new NHMRC project: Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging: Ensuring sustainable implementation. This is a complex project in collaboration with the Gold Coast University Hospital.
As Research Fellow (postdoctoral) you will play a crucial role in the success of the project specialising in organisational psychology or business/management.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Coordinate data collections in collaboration with the partner organization.
- Oversee daily project activities.
- Supervise a research assistant.
- Coordinate with the project manager data analyst and casual research assistants.
- Draft reports and publications for peerreview.
- Liaise with the 9 Chief Investigators (CIs) and hospital staff.
- Actively participate as a member of the project steering committee.
- Develop a track record in the area of organizational behaviour and/or artificial intelligence in the workplace.
- Engage with other capacitybuilding and networking opportunities.
This is a fixed term 18month full time position that will be primarily based at the Griffith University
Brisbane South (Nathan) campus. As Griffith is a multicampus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.
Salary Range
The fulltime equivalent base salary will be Research Fellow Grade 1 range $100206 $103888 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $117241 $121549 per annum.
Qualifications :
You will also have:
- A PhD Degree in organisational psychology or business/management with at least three years postdoctoral research experience.
- A good track record in academic publications.
- Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods data analysis and report writing.
- A strong scientific understanding of organisational behaviour and/or business/management
- Excellent communication teamwork leadership and adaptability skills.
- A strong attention to detail and highlevel organisation skills.
- Proficient time management skills and an ability to work collaboratively in a team research environment.
