Job Description

Griffith Business Schools Research Centre for Work Organisation and Wellbeing (WOW) comprises of over 100 academic experts who use rigorous academic processes to bridge the gap between workplace research practice and policy to help meet the demands of a constantly changing and adapting business world.

They explore and utilise macro (international societal organisational) and micro (individual) level research around key contemporary workforce issues such as emotion; employee voice; collectivism; health and safety; wellbeing; equity diversity and gender; and the management of human capital at work.

Work with the Director of WOW Professor Paula Brough who is leading a new NHMRC project:  Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging: Ensuring sustainable implementation. This is a complex project in collaboration with the Gold Coast University Hospital.

As Research Fellow (postdoctoral) you will play a crucial role in the success of the project specialising in organisational psychology or business/management. 
Your key responsibilities will be to:

This is a fixed term 18month full time position that will be primarily based at the Griffith University 
Brisbane South (Nathan) campus. As Griffith is a multicampus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.

Salary Range
The fulltime equivalent base salary will be Research Fellow Grade 1 range $100206 $103888 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $117241 $121549 per annum.
 


Qualifications :

You will also have:

  • A PhD Degree in organisational psychology or business/management with at least three years postdoctoral research experience.
  • A good track record in academic publications.
  • Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods data analysis and report writing.
  • A strong scientific understanding of organisational behaviour and/or business/management 
  • Excellent communication teamwork leadership and adaptability skills.
  • A strong attention to detail and highlevel organisation skills.
  • Proficient time management skills and an ability to work collaboratively in a team research environment.
