GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION

The cashier assists the Service & Parts Managers to deliver the extraordinary customer service necessary to achieve stated objectives in operations cash control expenses guest service and cleanliness. The cashier assists the Controller/Office Manager to maintain accurate accounting of cash credit cards service and parts invoices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strives to develop and maintain a superior level of customer service by using professional and appropriate techniques in all communications.
  • Supports the compliance of established company policies procedures and adherence to policies on a daily basis including courteous and effective customer service.
  • Monitor and maintain proper store cleanliness appearance and maintenance per company guidelines.
  • Timely and accurate store reporting. Accurate accounting of cash and credit cards.
  • Responsible for the security and accountability for all company assets including but not limited to: cash credit cards merchandise fuel equipment and property.

LEADERSHIP

  • Champion develop and maintain high performance team atmosphere
  • Looks for opportunities to improve quality efficiency and organization of work and methods
  • Other responsibilities will be assisting receptionist and other duties as deemed necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Minimum required education: high school diploma or GED
  • Associates Degree or higher Preferred
  • Basic working knowledge of retail operations and customer service
  • Basic working knowledge of Accounting Principles
  • Must be able to speak write and understand English

Work History

  • At least six months experience in a retail position
  • Team building

Availability

  • Must be flexible in work schedule in terms of hours and days required
  • Monday Friday 8:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m.

Computer Skills

  • Basic computer skills
