Are you an experienced Construction Estimator who thrives on diving into the detailsfrom first shovel in the ground to final handover Were looking for someone whos confident pricing all aspects of construction with a sharp focus on Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works.
Join our team and play a key role in building accurate clientfocused cost estimates that drive project success!
What Youll Do:
Work handinhand with Project Managers to prepare detailed datadriven cost estimates.
Absorb technical documentation quickly and translate it into actionable insights.
Estimate material labour and plant requirements across all project stages.
Produce and check quantities to support competitive and valuedriven pricing.
Build clientfriendly Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) from complex scopes.
Benchmark costs and track market rates to inform pricing strategy.
Collaborate with Project Controls Planning and Commercial teams for estimate validation and governance.
Monitor project costs throughout delivery providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Maintain and update benchmarking data for future use and continuous improvement.
What You Bring:
Solid experience in estimating across construction projects especially M&E packages.
Strong analytical skills and a fast learner when it comes to technical documentation.
Proficiency with estimating software/tools and Excel.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Familiarity with project governance frameworks and control procedures.

What You Bring:
Strong background in M&E construction estimating (ideally 5 years experience).
Excellent analytical skills with a sharp eye for detail.
Ability to juggle multiple deadlines and stay organised under pressure.
Good communication presentation and reporting skills.
Proactive and selfdrivenyou take ownership and make things happen.
Strong IT skills particularly in Excel and estimating tools.

Due to the nature of this role the successful candidate will require Security clearance. To gain this they will be required to be a Sole UK national Hybrid working from home/Assystem Office
