This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in various complex areas We care for and support people of all ages in the community and in their homes with rehabilitation learning disabilities and mental health. You may be supporting people to go to work/ college with personal tasks household jobs taking part in hobbies accompanying them on day trips or even planning a holiday. . Every day will be different. And youll never know what challenges youre about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though is that youll be making your clients days brighter whilst developing your skills and knowledge.
The client is a young gentlemen in his late twenties who suffers with epilepsy and nonverbal autism. On your daytoday you will be required to follow the clients regimented routine providing personal care; food preparation as well as offering emotional support and social interaction.
Qualifications :
What youll need
Experience with challenging behaviours and rescue medication for epilepsy would be extremely advantageous. However all staff will receive deescalation training prior to starting the role.
