Job Description
Oversee daily production activities to ensure quality output and efficiency targets are met
Interpret and work from technical drawings ensuring accurate execution in production processes
Lead motivate and manage production staff fostering a culture of teamwork accountability and continuous improvement
Coordinate closely with design sales and procurement teams to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery
Monitor and report on production KPIs identifying and resolving any bottlenecks or issues
Implement and uphold health and safety standards across the production floor
Drive process improvements cost reductions and best practices in manufacturing operations
Maintain machinery and equipment performance through preventative maintenance planning and troubleshooting
Assist with workforce planning training and skills development within the team
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 35 years of production or operations management experience in a manufacturing environment
Proven ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings
Strong leadership and people management skills
Practical understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
Selfstarter with excellent problemsolving abilities and attention to detail
Collaborative and clear communicator with crossfunctional teams
Comfortable working in a fastpaced handson production setting
Qualification:
Engineering qualification (Mechanical Industrial or related discipline preferred)
Valid drivers license and own vehicle
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
