The Duxbury Public Schools is seeking exceptional candidates to apply for the position of Director of Special Education beginning on July 1 2025.
The Director of Special Education is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for the design development and implementation of special education processes programs and curricula to meet the varying learning needs of the students in the Duxbury Public Schools. This is a role for an individual who is equally an effective manager strategic thought leader collaborator listener and implementer. The right candidate understands the art of utilizing staff efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of students and ensure equitable distribution of caseloads. The Director is a problemsolver who approaches the work with design thinking and is energized by the opportunity to reimagine the districts approach to serving all students and their families. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential components of this position.

Salary is commensurate with experience and relevant licensure.
