Sr. Manager, Decision Science, Devices Decision Science

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of Amazons device portfolio. You will lead highstakes decision meetings with Amazons executive leadership driving go/nogo decisions on confidential funding requests (PRFAQs) for revolutionary devices and services. Your expertise will be crucial in determining build volume strategies for manufacturing often without the benefit of customer signals.

You will spearhead pricing and tiering strategies across multiple product lines leveraging advanced economic models and tools developed by the Device Economics team. Your role will involve synthesizing complex data from conjoint demand models to inform critical business decisions that impact Amazons market position and financial performance. You will lead crossfunctional teams of scientists and product managers fostering innovation and driving the development of novel business solutions. Your leadership will be instrumental in increasing the velocity quality and scope of recommendations that shape Amazons device ecosystem.

In addition to your core responsibilities you will initiate and oversee special projects that not only guide the business but also push the boundaries of economic modeling and product strategy in the tech industry.

About the team
The Device Economics team is at the forefront of demand estimation and pricing strategy for concept devices. We support a diverse range of devices and services from Echo Frames to Kindle Paperwhite to Blink Video Camera subscriptions and beyond. As a crossfunctional Product team we are pioneering the scaling of econometrics throughout Amazon by integrating advanced scientific methodologies into internal tools and creating frameworks for broader adoption.

6 years of team management experience
Bachelors degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $178100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
