Overview
The IT Systems Engineer plays a critical role in supporting and advancing the organizations infrastructure networking and eDiscovery application environments. This highly versatile position demands broad technical expertise across servers networking databases cloud and storage. As part of the Infrastructure team the Systems Engineer acts as a key contributor in designing implementing troubleshooting and optimizing IT systems to ensure performance reliability and security.
This role is ideal for a handson engineer who thrives in a dynamic environment and can adapt to a variety of technical challenges. The Systems Engineer works closely with IT Support Development Project Management and customers (internal and external) to provide solutions resolve issues and deliver exceptional service. Ideal candidates will be located in Atlanta GA and willing to work inoffice 12 days per week.

Compensation
$90000.00 $160000.00/yr pending relevant experience and performance during interview process. Note: The I II III levels reflect flexibility based on experience responsibility and technical proficiency. Candidates at all levels are encouraged to apply.

Schedule
The role will follow standard business hours (95) and include participation in an afterhours oncall rotation. This is a hybrid position. Ability to travel to the data center as needed and participation in the rotating oncall schedule which may include nights and weekends is required. Ideal candidates will be located in Atlanta GA and willing to work inoffice 12 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide endtoend support and administration for servers networks databases cloud infrastructure and storage environments
- Design deploy and maintain enterprise networks including servers routers switches firewalls VPNs and wireless solutions
- Manage and support Cisco networking equipment and cloud environments (AWS/Azure) including configuration updates and upgrades
- Monitor and ensure uptime and performance for converged server infrastructure including VMware Azure AWS and enterprise storage platforms
- Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases including backups restores user access performance tuning and security
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues involving OS virtualization cloud services networking databases (MSSQL Server) VPNs and Microsoft 365
- Participate in risk assessments vulnerability scans patching and securityrelated projects
- Mentor and crosstrain IT team members sharing knowledge across all supported technologies
- Collaborate closely with other IT teams and Project Management to resolve incidents fulfill requests and deliver project work
- Continuously review and improve operational processes and workflows with a focus on automation and efficiency
- Contribute to the design and implementation of environment provisioning system builds and configuration management
- Support SAN/NAS storage environments including monitoring capacity planning and optimization
- Serve as an escalation point for advanced troubleshooting and major incidents
- Ensure accurate documentation of environments processes incidents and resolutions
- Participate in Scrum team activities to plan and execute on strategic initiatives
Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent experience
- 510 years of experience in IT infrastructure systems engineering and/or systems administration roles
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration networking protocols VMware and Microsoft 365
- Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with cloud services (Azure AWS) and hybrid environments
- Scripting experience (PowerShell Python or similar) to automate tasks and processes
- Strong analytical troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with eDiscovery platforms and workflows.
- Experience with Atlassian products (Jira Confluence).
- Relevant industry certifications (Microsoft VMware Cisco AWS/Azure).
- Experience supporting environments in regulated or compliancedriven industries.
