Job OverviewWe are seeking a Sr Software Engineer to join our Cloud Security Team responsible for crafting implementing and maintaining secure scalable cloud infrastructure across public and hybrid cloud environments. In this role you will collaborate with application cybersecurity DevOps and infrastructure teams to embed security standard processes into all stages of the cloud development lifecycle. You will play a key role in securing and automating cloud workloads automating compliance and ensuring our cloud environments are resilient against threats. This position is ideal for an engineer with deep cloud platform expertise and a good foundation in cloudnative security tools and practices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Leads implementation efforts across multicloud infrastructure ensuring scalability performance and security
- Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) CI/CD pipelines and automation for deployment and monitoring
- Architect and optimize systems using modern frameworks and cloudnative patterns (e.g. microservices containers serverless)
- Evaluate and implement cloud strategies and tools that reduce complexity and improve efficiency
- Facilitate to craft and implementation reviews with a focus on performance reliability and cost optimization
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers through code reviews learning and training sessions
- Lead and influence architectural discussions and technical roadmaps
- Proactively engage in multifunctional initiatives and technical forums to support team growth and innovation
- Stay informed of new cloud technologies and evaluate their adoption in alignment with business goals
- Advocate for and contribute to a forwardthinking cloud strategy particularly across hybrid or multicloud environments
- Work with DevOps and SRE teams to ensure backend services align with SLAs and business expectations
- Build clear and concise documentation for backend architecture API specifications deployment procedures and design decisions
- Communicate technical solutions efficiently to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelors Degree Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience (required)
- 5 years of software engineering and cloud experience (required)
- Proficiency and handson experience in modern programming languages such as Java Python Go etc.
- Experience with monitoring logging and performance tuning of cloud services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States

Base Pay Range: $113600 $205000Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as work location qualifications and experience so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At TMobile employees in regular nontemporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a yearend bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employees eligible earnings in the prior year.
