The Amazon Worldwide Sustainability Tech team creates the products and tools used to measure and mitigate Amazons social and environmental impacts on behalf of our Customers. Our team defends a high bar ensuring we apply and develop scientificallycredible approaches that influence all parts of our business from packaging and product design to data centers and airline fleets.
We are seeking a Senior UX Designer with an interest in diving deep into how Amazon can enable internal and external customers to make informed decisions to reduce and manage social and environmental impact through the tooling we build.
Key job responsibilities
Collaborate crossfunctionally with design program product and engineering teams from problem statements to solutions setting UX guidelines testing experiences creating assets and ensuring barraising quality.
Create the vision for developing communicating and implementing the user experience and associated UI framework and assets for a range of products; follow through with the processes and tactics to fulfill the vision.
Use various inputs to identify and define new concepts opportunities and customer problems.
Communicate your design thinking and drive discussion and reviews with builders and executives.
Leverage user research customer feedback analytics and data to drive design direction.
Create pattern libraries templates and tools for a variety of users on our platform.

8 years of design experience
Have an available online portfolio
Experience with design tools such as Photoshop Illustrator and InDesign and prototyping in HTML JavaScript CSS Ajax
Proven track record of driving design for large ambiguous projects or a suite of projects
Experience applying scrum to visual or UX design processes
Experience with UX design of complex workflows
Experience in sustainability or dataheavy products

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
