We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell V280 Future LongRange Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Armys Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bells HighSpeed Vertical TakeOff and Landing (HSVTOL) program a next generation stopfold tiltrotor.
Human Factors Engineering (across multiple levels):
Youll work with anthropometric requirements and pilot input to create task analysis and simulations to inform how our pilots and passenger interface with the aircraft and aircraft controls.
This role will be an integral part of the team working closely the customer other Integrated Product Teams and subcontractors.
Youll be able to hone your technical abilities on significant engineering problems all while gaining experience in leadership and communication.
This position is onsite in Fort Worth TX.
What youll be doing as a Human Factors Engineer:
Reviewing MILSTD1472 for guidance on complying with proposed design solutions.
Work closely with Bell engineers and pilots to establish system design operating and training requirements to ensure optimized humanmachine interfaces.
Work closely with other teams to complete design trade studies while maintaining operability and maintainability.
Actively engage with other IPTs to provide continuous evaluation of the design evolution always looking for Human Factors compliance and improvements.
Full-Time
