The Systems Engineering Directorate is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within Raytheon responsible for defining customer needs functional and product architecture requirements definition and decomposition Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) system performance and System Security Engineering (SSE).
The Land Warfare and Missile Defense Systems (LWMDS) Department supports Raytheon by providing world class technical expertise and engineering leadership to drive the design and development of worldclass Air and Missile Defense Systems Sensors and Effectors. The LWMDS department leads all aspects of Systems Engineering that drive the development of complex systems to support Raytheons Land and Air Defense Systems (L&ADS) programs from our Tewksbury / Andover locations.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
The individual will perform Systems Engineering activities and Jurisdiction Classification Assessment (JCA) activities on one or more of our programs.
Support various Programs such as Patriot Air and Missile Defense Capability (AMDC) Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS) Radar Development Contract (RDC) Standard Missile and other sensor or effector programs.
You will be responsible for developing requirements and updating and/or maintaining Interface Description Documents.
You will collaborate with other stakeholders such as customers and engineers from outside of Raytheon.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Engineering Science Physics Mathematics or a related STEM degree and ten (10) years of engineering experience
Experience with Missile Defense Systems or other systems engineering experience
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Value:
Advanced degree in EE CE Physics Math ME Aerospace.
Detailed Knowledge of Integrated Air and Missile Defense systems including radar interceptor Command and Control systems
Detailed knowledge of Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS)
Experience using DOORs
Strong collaboration skills
Control Account Management Experience
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Modeling & Simulation development experience
Data analysis
JCA experience

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
