Job Description

Job Title: Medical Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:

The Medical Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.

Reports to: Business Office Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain filing systems and archive files as assigned.

Send Appointment letters to all stakeholders on an L&I claim by fax or mail.

Creates Patient files.

Retrieve information as requested from records email and other related documents.

Prepare written summaries of data when needed.

Perform CAC reviews to ensure accurate clinical documentation.

Prepare patient charts prior to appointments for efficient provider workflow.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.

Ability to work independently.

Education and Experience:

1 years of experience in a medical administrative role.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

Job Type:Parttime (2024 hours a week)

Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday

Job Location: Onsite

Salary: $21$23
