Salary/Position Classification
- $30.00 hourly NonExempt (Eligible for overtime)
- Less than 8 hours most weeks but can be up to 20 during busy grading times such as around midterms and finals
- 100% Remote Work Availability: Yes
- Hybrid Work Availability: Yes
Purpose of Position
Graders support overall course instruction. This position will grade assignments in Nutrition & Dietetics courses. The position may be offered again in future semesters.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Grading assignments.
- The Grader works closely with a course instructor to assist with grading responsibilities for:
- N&D 240 Fundamentals of Nutrition
- N&D 240L Fundamentals of Nutrition Laboratory
- N&D 335 World Food Patterns or
- N&D 348 Sports Nutrition
- Course assignment for grading responsibilities may vary by semester. Grading responsibilities may include grading:
- quizzes worksheets discussion boards reflections case studies major projects or extra credit opportunities.
- Providing students feedback on their assessments is crucial for their learning and course progress.
Minimum Requirements
- Masters degree in dietetics human nutrition or Public Health with no less than 18 graduate credit hours in human nutrition or dietetics coursework
- Experience with Blackboard learning management system
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
