Job Description
The Digital Modernization Sector has an opening for a Sr Technical Project Manager to work onsite in Woodlawn MD five days a week.
***This position requires onsite work in Woodlawn MD five days a week.***
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a teamoriented environment
- Ability to adjust and work with shifting priorities demands and schedules
- Ability to elicit cooperation with upper management stakeholders and technical leads
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a highpressure environment
- Work with highly experienced and technical resources
- All other duties as assigned or directed
Education & Qualifications:
- Masters degree and 10 years of experience in a trainingrelated field or bachelors degree and 12 years of experience in a trainingrelated field. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust
Required Skills:
These skills will help you succeed in this position:
- 7 years of experience as an IT Technical Project Manager developing and implementing Project Management Plans.
- Experience in Agile methodology and related management tools (Confluence Jira Kanban etc.)
- Adept knowledge in developing project management artifacts
- Experience with projects related to infrastructure deployments Data Center services planning and implementation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills.
- Strong selfstarter requiring minimal supervision
- Ability to lead tasks related to researching projectrelated issues and challenges
- Must be able to learn understand and apply new technologies
- Project management certification
Desired Skills:
Showcase your knowledge of modern development through the following experience or skills:
- Experience with management tools (Confluence Jira Kanban etc.)
- Knowledge and experience with Cloud Services IT Service Management tools Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity implementations.
