Your role
As a Line Manager you will lead an engineering team of six professionals serving as Technical Leads. The team is relatively new consisting of a mix of senior and junior project managers. Their primary responsibility is internal project management and providing technical leadership. Larger development projects are typically divided into several subprojects (e.g. software hardware subsystems) and the team is responsible for managing these subprojects.
The team members spend the majority of their time working on our projects you will play an important role in fostering a sense of belonging ensuring the right skills are matched to tasks and supporting the teams successful delivery.
Your primary task will be:
Set up a structure for the group
Define the ways of working together with the Contracts & Projects department
Define the interface to our contract owners and line managers
Identify competence and resource gaps
Develop the competence of the staff and grow the group more by recruitments.
Your second task will be to get the group efficient improve the ways of working and continue develop the competence of the staff.

Your strong organizational skills enable you to create and implement effective plans and you communicate effectively both within the team and with external partners.
To succeed in this role you have:
Project management experience
Prior leadership experience
Ability and experience of change management both the group and organization are growing.
A relevant engineering background is preferred but not required.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
