PURPOSE OF JOB
Providing FXO sales coverage to institutional clients throughout the UK. The focus will be on the distribution of CIBCs core FXO & EFXO product suite aligned to FXO franchise expansion. To contribute significantly to revenue production of FSG.
MAIN OBJECTIVES
- To generate revenue for the nonCAD FXO business (LIREL) and expand and deepen client relationships to expand CAD FXO business.
- To manage and enhance the nonbank liquidity relationships.
- To risk manage LIREL book and ensure that it remains risk neutral using bank and nonbank liquidity in FX and FXO products.
- To enhance relationships and increase the product mix sold to existing accounts in a team environment.
- To retain and enhance any established relationships the candidate may already have.
- The prospecting of new FXO business opportunities.
Skills / Knowledge Required
- A minimum 10 years in the financial services industry and experience within FX Sales.
- The ability to cover senior client relationships and develop new accounts.
- Proven revenue generator with established client relationships
- Willing to work extended hours.
- A solid understanding of the FX and broader FICC markets.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Good team player.
- Computer literacy Excel Word Bloomberg Reuters EFX Trading Platforms.
- Graduate with relevant business degree.
- PRA/FCA qualified.
- Languages
