**Travel to Office expectations**
For Remote Roles: As this role is remote there will be in-office events that will require travel to and from the Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City office. These will include but not limited to onboarding team events semi-annual and annual team meetings.
For Hybrid Roles: As this role is Hybrid there will be an expectation to reside within commutable distance to the office/location specified in the job listing. This will include but not limited to weekly/bi-weekly/monthly events in the office with your specific team. This is a requirement for this role.

Position Summary:
The purpose of this role is to plan design and optimize PointClickCares workspace environments. This role involves coordinating with the Workplace Experience Senior Director and Project Design Manager to ensure that office layouts and projects meet the needs of the employees and align PointClickCare operational and organizational goals.
The WE Engineer is responsible for managing PCCs portfolio of properties day-to-day operations and building and associated programs. This position is highly customer oriented & focused experienced in building systems and in negotiating tracking and implementing maintenance contracts schedules. Is intimately knowledgeable with all building fire and safety codes etc. and is the first line of response for any and all building related emergencies such as floods power outages etc. Designs office reconfigurations on AutoCAD and works with external vendors to execute small projects and repairs. Has a keen knowledge of vendor management compliance and is an advocate of health and safety. This position requires to be on call 24/7 for building-related emergencies.
