The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Program Manager in the overall administration supervision and operational effectiveness of the Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) program. Carries a caseload if needed supervises staff and interns and monitors statistical information. Represents the program in the community as requested. Responsible for planning developing and evaluating programs to meet overall organizational goals and objectives. Provides afterhours coverage as needed and as indicated. Follows all PI HR budget contract requirements pursuant to the daily operations related to program functioning. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to any agerelated needs of the consumers served. The individual demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the consumer population served. He or she must be able to assess and interpret data about the consumers status in order to identify each consumers needs and provide the appropriate care including agerelated care needed by the consumer group. Required to report to work in inclement weather.
Legacy operates a crisis intervention program in Chester County providing evaluations 24 hours a day 365 days a year to individuals experiencing a psychiatric crisis or posing a danger to self others or property.

Education/Experience:
Masters degree in social work or human service field (eligible for licensure) preferred. May have Bachelors degree in social work or related field with at least 5 years experience in Mental Health/Crisis/De Escalation field at least 2 years management experience and Masters degree in social work/psychology/education in progress (proof of registration required upon hire).
Your drivers license must be in good standing with no recent suspensions or violations of careless/reckless driving or excessive speeding of more than 20 MPH and no more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years.
