Job Description
We are a familyfriendly firm that competes with the very best. Located in the Addison area we serve all of Texas and are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team.
- Case Management: Assist attorneys in managing complex litigation cases including organizing documents maintaining case files and tracking deadlines
- Legal Research: Conduct legal research using various databases and online resources to support case preparation
- Document Preparation: Draft and format legal documents pleadings and correspondence
- Discovery: Assist in the discovery process by collecting reviewing and summarizing documents and deposition transcripts
- Client Interaction: Communicate with clients witnesses courts and opposing counsel professionally and effectively
- Court Filings: File legal documents with courts and agencies and ensure compliance with local rules
- Trial Support: Provide support during trials including preparing trial exhibits and assisting with courtroom logistics
- Organizational skills focus and a strong work ethic are the most important qualifications for this position
- Paralegal certification by an ABAapproved program is a plus
- Must have 23 years of civil litigation experience preferably in commercial/business litigation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
