As a SAP Functional Test Lead in the Managed Services Platform youll work as part of a team of problem solvers helping to solve complex business issues from strategy through execution and beyond. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this level include but are not limited to:
Test Strategy Development:Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for SAP projects including unit testing integration testing system testing performance testing and user acceptance testing.
Team Leadership:Lead and mentor a team of testers providing guidance and support to ensure effective and efficient testing processes.
Requirements Analysis:Collaborate with business analysts and SAP functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios and test cases.
Test Planning:Create detailed test plans test scripts and test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
Execution and Monitoring:Oversee the execution of test cases monitor progress and ensure that testing is completed on time and within budget.
Defect Management:Identify document and track defects using test management tools and coordinate with development teams for resolution.
Quality Assurance:Ensure that all testing activities comply with established quality standards and best practices.
Stakeholder Communication:Communicate test results and project status to stakeholders including project managers developers and business users.
Risk Management:Identify risks related to testing activities propose mitigation strategies and escalate issues as necessary.
Continuous Improvement:Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the testing process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
Degree Preferred: Bachelors in Computer Engineering Information Technology Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum Years of Experience: 10 year(s) of IT experience
Extensive experience in SAP testing with a strong background in leading testing teams and managing SAP projects.
Certifications Required: NA
Certifications Preferred: SAP certification or testing certification (such as ISTQB) is preferred.
Required Knowledge/Skills: NA
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:
5 years of SAP Functional Testing experience in any of the modules like SD FICO MM. PP OTC or STP .
Proficiency in understanding of SAP Architecture
Hands on experience with test management tools like HP ALM SAP Solution Manager and JIRA.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to interpret test results and identify potential or underlying issues
Knowledge or Hands on experience of Automation testing tools like Tricentis Tosca SAP Katalan Studio SAP TAT..etc. is an added plus.
Proficient in understanding the testing activities and approaches in the different development methodologies (Agile Iterative and Waterfall).
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
