Job Description

To succeed in this role you will need a demonstrated track record of success in selling index based solutions and products such as Market Data to Buys Side & Sell Side clients as well as an interest in all aspects of Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) topics along with a strong financial background and demonstrated sales experience.

The role requires a high level of technical acumen attention to detail the ability to understand front office needs and strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve revenue and renewal goals by identifying and closing index sales opportunities with existing clients and prospects
  • Grow Euronext market share recognition and perception within the investment management and asset owner community
  • Cultivate relationships with Asset Managers Banks Asset Owners and Consultants
  • Continuously assess index based market opportunities define and update a sales plan for territory and discuss with Sales Management
  • Ensure detailed sales and renewal reporting and forecasting
  • Build and maintain relationships amongst existing clients and prospects
  • Record all client and prospect contacts and all meeting and telephone activity information into firms CRM system
  • Share relevant industry and opportunity information across the sales group and index designers

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years experience working within institutional sales and relationship management specifically with index related products
  • Bachelor or masters degree with a background in Finance Economics or other related discipline is preferred and additional qualifications such as CFA would be advantageous
  • Track record of business development and revenue generation either selling directly or through strategic partners
  • Demonstrated relationship and project management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong multitasking skills with expert judgment to help set priorities
  • Excellent organizational and verbal skills
  • Absolute personal and business integrity
  • Fluency in English and an additional European language is a plus (Preference: German Italian Spanish)
