Bookkeeper Established Accountancy Practice Bolton
Salary: Up to 30000 (dependent on experience)

A well-established and growing accountancy practice in Bolton is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join their expanding team. This practice is part of a larger group that champions SME businesses across the UK with a strong focus on helping clients grow and succeed.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has thrived in practice and enjoys managing their own diverse client portfolio. Youll be joining a supportive team that values collaboration and delivers consistently excellent results for their clients.

What youll be doing:

• Managing comprehensive bookkeeping services for a varied portfolio of sole traders partnerships and limited companies
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns accurately and on time
• Reconciling bank statements and maintaining up-to-date ledgers
• Building strong relationships with clients to gather records and respond to queries
• Utilising cloud accounting software including Xero QuickBooks and Sage on a daily basis

What were looking for:

• Proven experience working within a UK accountancy practice environment
• Strong bookkeeping knowledge with excellent VAT understanding
• Confidence using modern cloud accounting software
• A proactive organised approach to managing client deadlines
• AAT qualification would be advantageous but not essential
