Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and adaptable Flex Security Officer to join our team.
The pay rate for this position is $18.00 per hour. This is a flexible role where the individual will be responsible for picking up shifts as needed to cover for other officers paid time off (PTO) or calloffs.
As a flex officer there are no set days or hours and candidates must have open availability to respond to scheduling needs. This role will require working at various sites typically within a 30mile radius of Schenectady.
The candidate should be a quick learner able to adapt to different environments and job requirements while consistently performing basic security officer duties at each location. A strong work ethic dependability and the ability to quickly acclimate to new settings are essential. Key Responsibilities: Perform walking patrols and monitor surveillance systems for security concerns. Maintain accurate daily logs and incident reports. Respond to potential security issues and contact emergency services when necessary. Collaborate with site staff to maintain a safe environment. Flexibly work at different sites with varying duties as needed. Qualifications: Open availability for flexible shifts. Strong customer service and communication skills. Technologically proficiency Reliable transportation and valid drivers license. Quick to learn and adapt to new sites and duties. Previous security or crisis response experience preferred.
