Leidos is seeking a talented Material Planning Analyst II to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense space cyber and commercial fields Leidos provides responsive costeffective engineering scientific and IT solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
Managing Manufcturing any material Shortages
Working with ECO Coordinator to cut in ECOs.
Ensuring material certifications have been received and are available as needed.
Managing ISO9001/AS9100 processes within our department
Gathering quotes historical data and other backup to support proposal estimates and
Basic Qualifications
Candidate must have a Bachelor degree with 24 years or prior relevant work experience or a Masters Degreee with 02 years of prior relevant work experience. In lieu of a degree a High School diploma/GED with 5 years of experience will be considered
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or purchasing activities including experience obtaining quotes and interacting with vendors.
Position requires candidates to be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville North Alabama AL area.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Electromechanical components or manufacturing
Deltek Costpoint accounting software and Costpoint experience is preferred
Agile configuration management software
Interpreting and creating Bills of Materials
Government contractor material purchasing requirements
