THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a LicensedPsychologist you will work with a psychology staff providing psychological servicesto patients receiving treatment in a civil commitment sex offender program. You will perform specialized clinical work assess patient psychological services needs and assist patients in recognizing their problems through education and training. You will also develop multidisciplinary Comprehensive Individualized Treatment Plans (CITP) identify treatment modalities and document progress towards goals. This role requires effective communication to collaborate with teams to determine appropriate treatment as well as a genuine desire to help patients improve both psychological and emotional behaviors. In addition you will mentor Psychological Services Specialist (PSS) staff serve on departmental and hospitalwide committees recommend modifications to mental health programs and provide testimony in recommitment hearings.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch.
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Special Requirements:
- You must possess a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirementis currentlywaived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will requirea medical examination and a drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including but not limited to PA State Police and FBI clearance.
