Finance Associate - Accounts Payable

CORPORATE FINANCE GROUP

The Corporate Finance Group is currently a team of seventeen individuals and is responsible for the daytoday accounting for the Global Management Company. Our current Enterprise Risk Platform is Workday Financials. The Global Management Company consolidates the operations of all Registered Investment Advisors (one for each business) and the entities by geography including Asia (Hong Kong Tokyo Shanghai Singapore and Korea) Europe (London Munich Dublin France Spain Sweden Italy Portugal Luxembourg) Australia (Sydney and Melbourne) and India (Mumbai and Mauritius). Corporate Finance is also responsible for Tax Accounting and works closely with the Tax Department on Tax Reporting as well as Special Purpose reporting working closely with FP&A and other Finance groups within the Firm. Various other responsibilities within the group include the Cash Reporting Function (our key banking relationship is Bank of America) Cash Forecasting Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Perform accounting tasks related to the maintenance and processing of thirdparty invoices endtoend.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process invoices verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records and provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization

• Involved in the maintenance of all aspects of the invoice process endtoend inclusive of managing the receipt of invoices verification of data and audit tasks coordination of approvals and facilitation of the payment process

• Individual will work closely with the Accounting and Reporting Team to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data for each invoice

• Research resolve and answer inquiries regarding invoices including but not limited to overall status of payment verification of specific invoice data and attributes and policy and process

• Interact with various stakeholders across the organization including business unit Finance Teams and Legal and Tax Teams

• Oversight of the offshore processing team

• Coordinate audit and processing tasks with external service provider

• Assist with ad hoc projects as needed

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be detailoriented organized and professional;

• Must possess strong time management skills

• Must possess solid problem solving skills

• General Accounting experience and or course study is important

• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fastpaced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

• Proficient at Microsoft Excel

• Workday experience is a plus; however not required

DESIRED BACKGROUND

• Bachelor in Accounting or Finance is a must with a minimum GPA of 3.3

• 12 years of related experience
