The Vice President of University Partnerships will be responsible for pursuing Online Program Enablement (OPE) & Education Process as a Service (EPaaS) partnerships as an individual contributor for both selling opportunities leading the sales effort and shaping the product portfolio of bachelors and masters degree offerings. As the representative of Elsmere Educations service offering to prospective clients the position requires calling on and meeting with highlevel contacts at top public and private universities Presidents Provosts VPs Deans. The candidate must have experience selling complex sales opportunities negotiating terms building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline. Travel will also be required and may account for as much as 25% of the Vice President of University Partnerships time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prospect new clients for OPE/EPaaS partnerships for bachelors and masters degree portfolio offerings with top public and private universities.
  • Independently lead in developing sales strategy and initiatives for generating new partnerships
  • Build and maintain robust sales pipeline.
  • Negotiate contract terms.
  • Provide consultative marketing solutions and superior customer service to prospective and current clients.
  • Develop and lead sales presentations with multiple highlevel university contacts.
  • Present and consult on indepth research market potential.
  • Create proposals and pro formas in collaboration with Sales Operations
  • Build and maintain Salesforce database of prospective contact lists.
  • Create and close endtoend sales opportunities by prospecting new leads generating sales correspondences proposals sales calls and completing sales.
  • Travel for meetings and conferences.
  • Up to 25% travel

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors degree from a fouryear college or university.
  • 5 years of experience in the field of business development partnerships with Higher Ed selling partnerships/services to university highlevel administration.
  • Must have a proven track record of hunting for prospects and closing business.
  • Strong aptitude for researching and prioritizing prospects to reach goals.
  • Ability to create and close endtoend partnership opportunities by prospecting new leads generating sales/partnership correspondences proposals sales calls and completing partnerships agreements.
  • High level of professional acumen in the areas of presentation interaction person to person networking
  • Demonstrated leadership and presentation skills for one on one and group presentations.
  • Ability to create opportunities and see them through to completion.
  • Exceptional communication consultative selling negotiation closing skills a proven ability to exceed sales quotas and the ability to work in an individual selling environment are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and from a home office while managing time well is a must. Employees need to be a highvolume producer organized and consistent in approach. Planning for travel balanced with completing internal work assignments is required.
  • Team player with a teambased approach seeking to enhance internal strengths while helping the organization to improve in best practices.
  • Demonstrated success in referral/lead building.
  • This is a remote position

Salary Range: $performancebased bonus
