Leidos National Security Sector is on the hunt for a motivated Warehouse Specialist to support the Navy Array Technical Support Center (NATSC) in Newport RI. This is your chance to be part of something bigger while enjoying rewarding challenges in logistics and operations.
What Youll Be Doing: Your expertise will shine as you handle incoming and outgoing materials with precision and care. As our Warehouse Specialist you will:
Load and unload vehicles drive and make deliveries using a medium stake body truck.
Manage material receipt issue and inventory maintenance.
Keep accurate recordsboth hardcopy and electronicfor receipt issue and location tracking.
Move materials using hand and powered lift trucks with safety and efficiency.
Prepare and package materials for shipment with attention to detail.
What Were Looking For Basic Qualifications :
A background in warehousing activities including reading and interpreting warehouse storage plans.
Proficiency with standard office equipment (phones computers faxes copiers).
Physical capability to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted.
Recent experience at NATSC Newport as a Warehouse Specialist (or equivalent role).
A valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Interim Secret clearance to begin with final Secret clearance required to remain on the program.
What Sets You Apart Preferred Qualifications: While not mandatory these additional qualifications will make you stand out:
Previous experience supporting NATSC warehousing activities.
Familiarity with warehouse storage plans and procedures.
Rhode Island or Massachusetts state drivers license in good standing.
This position is covered by the Service Contract Act and offers a competitive rate of $21.58 per hour.
