POSITION: Arts Program Director (Fulltime/NonExempt)

ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION: IBAInquilinos Boricuas en Accion empowers and engages individuals and families to improve their lives through highquality affordable housing education and arts programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Arts Program Development and Management
- Develops and implements the Arts program business plan.
- Develops and oversees yearlong programming for the IBA Arts Program including flagship summer events: Festival Betances and Tito Puente Latin Music Series.
- Develops arts placemaking activities and initiatives in La CASA and Villa Victoria.
Partnerships and Collaboration
- Fosters arts and cultural relationships to cultivate external partnerships and collaborations.
- Maintains partnerships with local colleges organizations and artists to help produce highcaliber arts programming.
- Works collaboratively with IBA Program Directors and the Chief Program Officer (CPO) to integrate arts into IBAs programs.
- Collaborates with IBAs staff to promote programmatic objectives within our organizational mission.
- Collaborates with the communications department to promote the program and events.
Reporting and Data Management
- Maintains data collection tracking and reporting regarding artists clients audience participation referrals and program outputs/outcomes.
- Prepares necessary management reports for IBAs Board of Directors funding sources Finance and others as needed.
Financial Oversight and Revenue Generation
- Ensures contracting and outsourcing compliance with financial legal safety and regulatory requirements related to artist contracts licenses etc.
- Develops implements and oversees strategies to increase revenue through space rentals and ticket sales.
- Works closely with IBAs CEO COO CFO and Chief Program Officer to build a realistic and sustainable budget and develop specific performance measures.
- Works with the Chief Program Officer and Chief Philanthropy Officer to increase fundraising grant writing and reporting.
Team Leadership and Representation
- Supervises the arts team currently consisting of an Arts Manager and an Artist in Residence.
- Represents the organization at external meetings as needed.
- Participates fully in the organizations annual events such as Three Kings Day Membership Drive Board Election Festival Betances and other communityrelated events.
- Carries out ad hoc duties as needed.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Arts Administration or a related field preferred.
- Three to five years of proven successful experience in: planning managing and implementing arts programs activities staff management fundraising budget development/financial management and strategic planning.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Bilingual SpanishEnglish preferred.
- Strong administrative organizational skills and attentive to details.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and within deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team setting.
- Experience with program evaluation data collection and analysis.
- High degree of computer literacy with excellent knowledge of word processing spreadsheet and database software application required.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
IBA is proud to offer very competitive $98000 annualized salary commensurate with experience and a robust benefit plan that includes an 80/20 premium cost share for comprehensive health dental and vision insurance; a generous HRA provided by the company ($9450 or $18900 based on single and family coverage) and other built in supports that significantly reduces or eliminates out of pocket medical expenses.
